Since the collection’s launch in 2019, our commitment has included material origins, the people involved and the handling of waste. We aim to connect design and manufacturing decisions with a more considered use of resources.

MATERIAL ORIGINS

Organic cotton
Organic cotton is a key material in the collection, linking garment development to fibre origin and the farming practices associated with its production.
Recycled cotton
Our catalogue includes pre-consumer recycled cotton, reusing material recovered before it reaches consumers. Its presence and percentage are specified in the product composition.
Recycled polyester
Post-consumer recycled polyester uses recovered waste as a raw material. It reuses existing resources, with its use determined by each garment’s requirements.
TRACEABILITY AND CERTIFICATION
Information that follows the garment.
Confecções Calvi Lda is OCS and RCS certified. OCS verifies organic material content, while RCS verifies recycled content and the associated chain of custody.
Company certification does not mean that every item is certified. Only products covered by a valid transaction certificate are OCS or RCS certified. Applicable certifications are identified in each product’s information.
